The accounting profession offers a range of pathways to entry and ongoing professional benefits.
Indigenous Accountants Australia is a joint initiative of Australia’s two primary professional accounting bodies: CPA Australia and the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand. Both bodies are member organisations offering training, networking, career support and, through our affiliates, international networks. Between us, we represent over 228,000 members.
While each body has its unique characteristics, there are many things that we have in common. We all work with government, regulators, academia and the business community to promote the role of accounting and advocate on important issues for the benefit of broader society. And we’re united in our desire to increase the number of Indigenous Accountants in Australia and to promote the benefits of accounting within Indigenous communities.
