    Indigenous Business Australia (IBA) is an Australian Government organisation established to assist Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in achieving economic independence.

    IBA runs programs aimed at assisting Indigenous Australians to buy their own homes, be successful in business and invest in commercial ventures that provide strong financial returns.

    They regularly advertise roles in the finance and accounting sector.

    Employers with Reconciliation Action Plans

    Reconciliation Australia is the national organisation promoting reconciliation between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and the broader Australian community. Their programs such as the Indigenous Governance Awards Project and the Reconciliation Action Plans (RAPs), along with their advocacy and public education work, are about building sustainable frameworks for lasting change in Australia.

    All sorts of organisations have RAPs including large and small corporates, schools, universities, government departments, community groups, not-for-profit organisations, sporting clubs and media outlets.

    Black Pages is Australia’s first national Indigenous business portal, with the first free national online Indigenous business and community enterprise directory.

    Generation One

    GenerationOne’s mission is to end the disparity between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians in one generation through employment.

    On 19 March 2010 former Prime Minister Hon Kevin Rudd MP launched GenerationOne, the most significant step ever taken to involve the entire Australian community in our shared commitment to Closing the Gap. GenerationOne now has over 284,000 supporters and is continuing to build the essential community support for sustainable employment.

    GenerationOne now encompasses the Australian Employment Covenant (AEC) and the P Plate schools program.

    The Office of the Registrar of Indigenous Corporations supports and regulates Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander corporations registered under the Corporations (Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander) Act 2006 (CATSI Act).
